WHO AM I?
Anthony D.
Sharp, Jr. was born on June 15th, 1981 to Anthony D. Sharp,
Sr. & Glenda J. Sharp in Los Angeles, CA. He has one brother Alonzo and
one sister Morgan.
Anthony D. Sharp, Jr.
is currently a Graduate Advisor for the Criminal Justice students at
Westwood College in Los Angeles, CA.
He received his Bachelor
of Arts in
Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Xavier University of Louisiana
in New Orleans, Louisiana. While attending Xavier he served as the
President of the Psychology Club, Campus Ministry Speaker (Final Exam
Prayer Service), Volunteer/Graduate Assistant for the Office of Graduate
Placement, Wellness Peer Counselor, Peer Dean, Resident Advisor,
Assistant Director for the Pre-Service Teacher Institute Program with
Xavier University’s Division of Education, Volunteer for the Xavier
Operator, as well as, a member of the Xavier University of Louisiana
Office of Campus Ministry Gospel Choir.
Although that
was a lot to be involved in, the Bachelor experience wasn’t enough for
him. He pressed on forward and received his Masters in Community
Counseling from Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans,
Louisiana. In addition, he served as an active member of both the Mass
Choir and Male Chorus at Franklin Avenue Baptist Church in addition to,
working with the Youth and Young Adult ministry, Computer ministry
as an instructor, and a Sunday School teacher as well.
